You can delete your PPOL Network account at any time directly from the mobile app — for both rider and driver accounts. This page walks through the steps and explains what happens to your data after deletion.


1. How to delete your account from the app

The same flow works for both the rider app and the driver app:

  1. Open the PPOL Network app on your phone and sign in with your credentials.
  2. Tap the menu icon (top-left) and choose Profile, or tap your profile picture from the home screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen.
  4. Tap the red "Delete account" link below the Save button.
  5. Confirm the prompt to permanently close your account.

2. What happens after you delete your account

  • Your profile (name, email, phone number, profile picture) is removed from the app and made inaccessible to other users.
  • Saved payment cards, favourite locations, and chat history are deleted.
  • Active or scheduled rides are cancelled. Any ongoing trip should be completed before you delete the account.
  • Drivers: outstanding wallet balances must be withdrawn before deletion. Vehicle, document, and certification records are retained only as long as required by law for tax, audit, and insurance purposes.
  • Records that we are legally required to keep (financial transactions, fraud and safety reports, regulatory compliance records) are retained per the timelines in our Privacy Policy and then permanently destroyed.

3. Before you delete

  • Drivers — withdraw any wallet balance to your linked bank account first.
  • Riders — make sure you do not have an in-progress ride; cancel or wait for it to complete.
  • If you only want to take a break, you can sign out instead of deleting — your account stays intact and you can come back later.

4. Need help?

If you can't delete your account from the app for any reason, email us and we will process the deletion for you. Please send the request from the email address linked to your account so we can verify ownership.
